Altadena is an unincorporated town in Los Angeles County, California, approximately 14 miles from the downtown Los Angeles, and directly north of the city of Pasadena, California. The population was 42,777 at the 2010 census, up from 42,610 at the 2000 census.
With its own history and traditions, including an annual “old fashioned days” parade and more, Altadena offers residents beautiful views from hillside Los Angeles homes in one of Southern California’s oldest – and highest residential areas. Altadena is a multi-ethnic and cross-cultural community with a Mediterranean-type climate and includes the historic landmark Christmas Tree Lane.
