Monrovia is a city located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, California. The population was 36,590 at the 2010 census, down from 36,929 at the 2000 census. Monrovia has been used extensively for filming many TV shows, movies and commercials.
